		J & K Homebuilders was established in 2007 by Jason and Krissy Rector and is based in Ocala, Fl. They own a well established residential and commercial framing company and decided to join the community of home builders they’ve worked with over the past 5 years. Their goal is to build affordable homes while making the home building process as easy as possible for their customers. J & K Homebuilders will provide resources for whatever the customer may need as far as financing, finding land, or home design. J & K is a Florida State Certified Contractor with two licensed contractors on staff. They are extremely responsive, competetive, and customer oriented, whether it's a remodel or a completely new construction project.
	Jason Rector – CRC1329012 After being in the construction business for five years working for an area contractor, Jason Rector decided to venture out on his own. He received his Carpentry license in 2005, and with is wife Krissy, opened their Framing Company, Rector Construction, Inc. After a very successful first year, Jason received his Florida State Certified Residential Contractor’s license and began J & K Home Builders, LLC. The goal of J & K Home Builders is to build high-quality, affordable housing to benefit the community.
Barrie Simon – CBC1253979 After spending 30 years in the communications business doing everything from manufacturing and project engineering to senior management, Mr. Simon relocated to the Ocala, Florida area and entered the construction industry in June 2003. After years in project management, construction management was a natural progression. Mr. Simon worked as a construction superintendent until he applied for and was issued his Certified Building Contractor’s License by the State of Florida in March of 2006. This license is valid for both residential and commercial construction. He has been instrumental in building hundreds of houses in Marion and Levy counties and a number of remodels as well. Mr. Simon joined the newly formed J & K Home Builders early in 2007, and teamed up with Jason and Krissy Rector to pursue more remodeling and to enter into the local affordable housing market.
